Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as a news reporter and anchor with WPDE-TV. Later, she was an anchor in the morning and a reporter on WCBD TV. In Charleston O'Dell's reporting regarding the police's lenient approach to DUI cases led to the launch of a State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in State authorities issuing an even more strict directive on these cases.
